We're CreedStack Motions Limited — a small, independent Android and web studio with our HQ in Kampala and offices in London and New York. We build apps and tools for the millions of people Silicon Valley tends to forget about: users on mid-range Android phones, on slow networks, in countries where every megabyte counts.

Our story · 02

From a side project
to 2 million downloads.

CreedStack Motions started as a single side project in 2024 — a simple WhatsApp Status Saver, built to scratch a personal itch. It grew faster than expected. People liked that it was tiny, fast, and didn't ask for any permissions it didn't need.

By early 2025 the studio was shipping five Android apps across content saving, story creation and casual gaming. Today our apps run on phones across 70+ countries, with most of our growth coming from East Africa, South Asia and Latin America — markets where the biggest tech companies don't always invest the same effort.

We stay small on purpose. Independence means we choose the projects we believe in, the privacy posture we're comfortable defending, and the pace we can actually maintain. Every app we ship is something we'd want our own family to use.

Six things we won't compromise on.

Free should mean free

Core features available to everyone. No paywalls hiding the basics. Ads to keep the lights on, never to gate value.

Tiny is a feature

Most of our apps are under 30 MB. We optimise for low-end phones and slow networks because that's where most users live.

Privacy by default

Local-first wherever we can. Clear about what we collect and why. Honest about which third-parties get involved.

No dark patterns

No fake urgency. No deceptive opt-ins. No hidden subscriptions. If we want money, we ask plainly — not by tricking you.

Ship in our language

Localising into 34+ languages including Swahili, Hindi, Arabic — the languages of our actual users.

Stay small, stay sharp

We're not chasing IPO scale. We grow by quality of apps, not headcount. Independent today, independent tomorrow.

Creed Motions started as an independent studio in 2024 from Kampala, Uganda, and has grown into a small team shipping apps across content tools, mobile games and utilities. Our team has backgrounds across Android development, product design, web engineering and operations. We're deeply interested in markets that big tech under-invests in, and in building software that respects users' time, data and devices.
