01Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, signing into, or otherwise using Webaura (the "App") on iOS or Android, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
These Terms are between you and CreedStack Motions Limited ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of Webaura.
02License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except where permitted by law
- Distribute, sublicense, lease or sell the App
- Modify or create derivative works of the App
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notices in the App
- Use the App to build a competing product
03Account & identity
Webaura supports two identity modes:
- Anonymous browser identity — a local, anonymous code with a nickname, emoji avatar and avatar colour. This works without a conventional account.
- Google-linked account — optional sign-in via Google for Firebase Auth-backed sync features.
You are responsible for keeping any credentials you use secure, including your Google account if you sign in. Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access to a Webaura account or sync session.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to access, download or distribute unlawful content, including content that infringes intellectual property rights of others
- Use the App to harm, harass, threaten or impersonate others
- Attempt to bypass paywalls, entitlements, ad systems, rate limits or account verification
- Submit malicious code, scripts or extensions through Webaura's extension or scripting features
- Use automated tools, bots or scrapers in ways that interfere with the App or its services
- Violate the terms of platforms accessed through Webaura (YouTube, social networks, streaming services, etc.)
05Purchases & subscriptions
Webaura offers the following purchase options:
- Webaura Pro subscription — recurring billing through Apple App Store or Google Play, auto-renewing unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Lifetime purchase — a one-time payment that unlocks Pro features for the lifetime of the App on the platform of purchase.
- Aura Points consumables — single-use point bundles that unlock specific features or actions inside the App.
All payments are processed by Apple or Google. We do not store your full card details. Manage, cancel or request refunds for subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings or Google Play account, subject to those stores' refund policies.
06Aura Points
Aura Points are a virtual in-app currency that can be earned (for example via rewarded ads) or purchased. Aura Points:
- Have no monetary value, no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for money
- Are non-transferable between accounts, devices, or users
- May be lost if you reset the App, uninstall without a server-side restore mechanism, or violate these Terms
- Validation, restore and balance flows pass through Webaura's backend services hosted on Koyeb
- We may, at our discretion, add, change or remove Aura Points features, redemption costs or earning rates
07Third-party services
Webaura uses several third-party services. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply to their parts of the experience:
- Firebase & Google services — Firebase Auth, Analytics, Crashlytics, Messaging, Google Sign-In, Google Mobile Ads
- Apple App Store & Google Play — purchase, billing, store distribution and subscription management
- Webaura backend (Koyeb) — server endpoints used for premium and Aura Points flows
- Web content publishers — sites you choose to browse, watch, download or interact with
We are not responsible for the content, terms, accuracy, or availability of third-party services or sites accessed through Webaura.
08Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage.
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of malware, compatible with all devices, or that defects will be corrected. Sync, premium and points services depend on external providers whose availability is outside our direct control.
09Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreedStack Motions Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
10Termination
These Terms apply until terminated. You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it from your device.
We may suspend or terminate your access — including any sync, account, or Aura Points features — without notice if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, or where required by law. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of subscriptions or lifetime purchases except where required by applicable law or store policy.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, by an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after the new effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
12Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent permitted by law, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Kampala, Uganda. Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.
