Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Upload HD Status (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
What the App is
Upload HD Status optimizes photos and videos on your device so they retain the best practical quality when you post them to WhatsApp Status. The App does not publish a Status for you — you complete the final posting step yourself through your device's share sheet. Upload HD Status is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.
License
CreedStack Motions Limited grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the App on devices that you own or control. You may use the App for personal and for legitimate business purposes (for example, preparing your own product photos or promotional clips).
Your content & responsibilities
You keep all rights to the photos and videos you process with the App; we claim no ownership of them and never receive them. You are responsible for the content you optimize and share, and you agree to: (a) only process media you own or have the right to use; (b) not use the App for any unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; (c) respect the terms of service of WhatsApp and any other platform you post to; and (d) not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or interfere with its normal operation.
No quality guarantee
The App improves the starting quality of what you post, but it cannot control what WhatsApp does after you post. WhatsApp re-encodes and may further compress or resize Status media, and results vary by device, source file, and network. The App does not bypass WhatsApp's compression and does not guarantee lossless, 4K, or any specific final quality. The in-app before/after preview shows the App's own export, not the final posted result.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. CreedStack Motions Limited does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices or media formats.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreedStack Motions Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Third-party platforms
The App interacts with your operating system's share sheet and, through it, with third-party services such as WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. We are not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or practices of those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Intellectual property
The App, its name, design, and original code are the property of CreedStack Motions Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a license to use the App, not any ownership of it.
Changes to the App
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time, and we are not obligated to support older versions. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
Termination
These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate your license if you materially violate these terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
